Anyway. Store this in your random file, because it WORKS:
When your kids have a persistent cough in the middle of the night that keeps waking you up and makes you want to shove your face through the wall, what do you do? Put Vick's Vapor Rub on their feet with socks over it. Cough no more.
The end.
Sorry gots to go celebrate a birthday. Happy Monday!
SERIOUSLY??? How did you even come up with this?? I mean, it sounds like sheer genius but I would have never thought about it. Does it work for husbands too? I hope the Imperfect Daisies household starts feeling better soon!! And no passing it back and forth to each other. That just makes for misery.
ReplyDeleteReally? On their feet? My oldest (15) has a nasty cough right now. Something tells me she won't allow this remedy. :P
ReplyDeletethanks for the tip! hope everyone feels better soon...
ReplyDeletei am like shocked to hear this one. i am totally doing this to manfriends sick self tonight. (i am assuming it will work on a 6'6" dude just as well as the kiddos?)
ReplyDeletethank you for the tip!
Oh really? I wonder if this works for adults. I have had a cough for the past few days and I think I'll try it tonight. It almost sounds like it would hurt a little.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that's a lot of feeling bad. I hope everyone gets well soon.
ReplyDeleteI am totally going to have to try the vicks on feet think. Even a little coughing with my son flares up his asthma.
I've heard to this too. I would prefer to not have to try it out, but I'm sure I will at some point.
ReplyDeleteI've heard about this too, but have never tried it. Oh, and olive oil helps take ear pain away---totally natural and harmless (but you only need a tiny drop or two---otherwise hair gets all greasy!).
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that! AWESOME!
ReplyDeletehuh. My mom always put it on my chest. would you call me a freak if I just rubbed it on my feet and covered them with socks just b.c. i thought it would feel cool?
