I know you didn't think you just entered into a contest, but in fact, you did.

So as you all know, I had a pretty bad day.  I'll probably get into it tomorrow when I have more energy, but I've got to say.  You folks really brought it today.  I mean.  I feel fat.  I'm tired, my house is a wreck blah blah blah.    Oh, and while grocery shopping my HUGE cart with a car in the front and carseat in the back that I wasn't using because I was carrying the baby crashed into one of those sticker printing produce thing and it fell over and smashed into a million pieces.  I threw up my white flag and walked away.  That was just the type of day I was having.  But you guys.  I'm pleased with the company I was in today.  So thank you for sharing your misery.

But maybe my day wasn't so bad after all:

Namaste-Heather had a pretty bad day, I think.

  2. while it doesn't make your crappy day any less significant, Heather certainly dealt with her fair share.

  5. dude, i don't even try to go grocery shopping with the three kids. i wait til my mom is off of work and go when she can watch them...or at the very least, when mike gets home. sometimes i even email him a 'small' list of things to pick up after work...this is usually the case when i can milk being pregnant like i can now. kudos to you for the effort;)

  6. It really does suck sometimes shopping with the little ones. And I would have totally walked away from the mess to, like nothing ever happened...we are allowed to act insane every once in a while!

When Lex was a few weeks old I got up enough courage to get out of the house by myself and go to the grocery store. I got all of my shopping done, she was soundly sleeping. I went up to pay at one of those self check out things and realized...my wallet is in my purse at the house...I no longer carry my purse bc I have this big ugly diaper bag. I was so pissed off my face must have been the color of this blog!

  10. On the positive side, you're TOTALLY cracking me up that you raising children who may or may not adorn rosaries a la Madonna in "Papa Don't Preach" when they get to be about 16. That's AWESOME! And BFF in high school had a stepmom once who totally wore her father's rosaries to Kroger. It took her awhile to figure out where was wearing like...a...sacrament. She was Baptist. Obviously. Here's hoping tomorrow is better. And if not, there's always vodka.

And also? TMI, I know, but my "little gift from Mother Nature" now comes every 20 days as opposed to every 28. Yes, that makes me justifiably homicidal. So...right there with ya!
